Core variant: Dye affects the color of the staff's handle. This include the ornate detail and the overall color. The staff's head is unaffected. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.

Lightning Spire variant: Dye affects the color of the entire staff. The staff will become lighter or darker depending on the color applied. The lightning spark is unaffected. There is an undyeable version.

Canthan variant: Dye affects the color of two of the bandings aroudn teh staff's head. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.
