International cultural references

I've noticed a couple of Polish references, some of which may be unintentional. The only one that stands out, however, is a certain Nightfall boss. When I told my wife I was combatting Dupek the Mighty she started laughing because "dupek" is the Polish word for "butthole" (and no, it does not translate to the equally vulgar swear-word).
