Eye of Janthir
From Guild Wars Wiki
The Eye of Janthir features in one of the missions of Guild Wars Prophecies, the Divinity Coast mission. It is a floating pyramid-shaped object with an eye in it that follows a character around, selecting the Chosen from various NPCs it passes and occasionally uses Janthir's Gaze, causing an AoE knockdown if any enemies are nearby. This causes no damage. It only follows a character that have been cleansed in the Fountain of Truth.

Notes
- Heroes and henchmen, cleansed or not, cannot have the Eye of Janthir follow them.
- As the Eye of Janthir finds the Chosen for the White Mantle and their unseen gods, it can be assumed the Eye somehow belongs to these gods, who use it to select the Chosen.
- NPC allies will be "tested" once when the eye is in range of them. This is depicted by a ray of light shining on them (pictured). Worthy NPCs will remain standing, say something optimistic, and follow the player after a moment. Unworthy NPCs will be knocked down and say something pessimistic.
- The eye cannot be targeted but can be body blocked.
- One of the Mysterious Tonic forms.
- This creature has a miniature version, but it only floats around and does not "test" things.
- Regardless of facing or angle of view, the Eye within the pyramid always faces the camera.
