[edit] Notes

  • Whenever Fendi Nin dies, the Skeleton Archers that were with him will die also. Unfortunately, they are shortly replaced with level 24 Damned Crewman in equal strength of numbers. These are Ritualists that will spam attack spirits. The Soul of Fendi Nin will spawn at the same time, and this is the real dungeon boss. You have to kill the soul to complete the dungeon. Unfortunately, Fendi Nin returns to his corporeal form after a while, and you have to destroy his body again before you can attack the soul.
  • Since the Damned Crewmen will appear in the last place the Soul of Fendi Nin returned to the zombie form, but the Skeleton Archers will return directly to Fendi Nin, you can lure Fendi Nin away from the archers every time he comes back, and when Fendi Nin dies, the Soul will appear far from the Damned Crewmen. Repeat the process of luring Fendi Nin away from the archers again and again to almost completely avoid the Damned Crewmen altogether.
  • The Soul of Fendi Nin stays for about 15 seconds and then gets replaced with a full health Fendi Nin and some Skeleton Archers.
  • Fendi Nin can be pulled outside his chambers, and lured into standing between the two fire jets just outside the door. He will take damage and be set on fire, which can help your team kill him faster. In addition, the Damned Crewman will also only spawn at the area where Fendi Nin was was standing when you entered the area, meaning if you lured him far enough (about 2 aggro circles) the Crewman will spawn far enough as to not aggro your party. However, upon subsequent transformations the Crewman will spawn at his point until the party leaves the area or is resurrected again.
  • When Fendi Nin is lured too far away from his starting location, he will start to head back upon transformation to Soul of Fendi Nin. The furthest location Fendi Nin can be lured and will stay is just beyond the fire jets, so if he is lured onto the bridge he will start to head back upon transformation. An effective tactic is to place a player just behind him to body block so that he will not head back and will be separated from his crewman. Two to three repetitions of this can usually destroy him.
  • Fendi Nin, like most of the other monsters in this dungeon, takes double damage from holy damage.
  • All spawned monsters give Dwarf reputation points. It is not possible to "farm" Dwarf points indefinitely however, as eventually Soul of Fendi Nin will spawn with very little health, and once it is killed, the dungeon is completed.
