The Flamberge is seemingly gothic in style, with the hilt in the shape of a bat & skull.

Dye affects a small portion of the sword's hilt. The default color can be replicated with red dye.

- The term 'flamberge' actually means 'flame blade' and is typically a large and sometimes two handed sword, with a waved blade. The flamberge in Guild Wars has no similarities with such a blade except perhaps for the actual size of the sword.
- The Flamberge is used as an icon to indicate successful achievement of bonus goals for hardmode missions.
