A gemstone, also known as an anguish gemstone, is the generic name given to the gems found in the Domain of Anguish in Guild Wars Nightfall. They drop rarely as loot from monsters in the Domain of Anguish and are given as reward for completing the Mallyx the Unyielding quest.
There are four different types of gemstones:

- One of each type of gemstone can be traded for a Coffer of Whispers from the Keeper of Whispers in the Gate of Anguish.
- 15 of each type of gemstone, 60 in total, can be traded for an Armbrace of Truth from a Spirit of Truth. The armbrace can be traded for a Tormented weapon from the Deacon of Whispers.

- The rare crafting materials Onyx Gemstone, Diamond, Ruby and Sapphire can also be referred to as gemstones.
- The Enslavement Stone, trophy from Sorrow's Furnace, has the same shape. Beware of scams.
- The models for the gems were once skill gems for Mesmer, Monk, Warrior, and Necromancer respectively.

- One of each type of gemstone was formerly used to unlock the Ritualist hero, Razah during the quest Finding a Purpose.
