Highly salvageable

Acquisition

"Highly salvageable" is an inherent bonus that may be in all weapon types. It can only be found as loot. Thus, no NPC may craft weapons with this bonus, nor will it be found in collector weapons, though you may find purple or gold weapons with this bonus.

If weapons don't have an inherent bonus, but an inscription slot instead, this bonus may also be found, as there exists a inscription named "Measure for Measure".

Effect

It intrinsically does what the name says. If you try to salvage items that have this inherent bonus (or the "Measure for Measure" Inscription), you will get more materials than normal. The merchant's sale value of the salvaged amount of common crafting materials is usually more than that of the salvaged item.

Notes

  • Some people suspect that items with this inherent bonus (or the "Measure for Measure" inscription) salvage more often for rare crafting materials. Therefore, some people buy "Measure for Measure" inscriptions and upgrade inscribable weapons with it, hoping that it will improve their chances of salvaging rare crafting materials from their weapons (i.e., Ruby Daggers, which may salvage into Rubies instead of Pile of Glittering Dust). This theory is unconfirmed.
