Lift Operator Shulz is the operator of the Kurzick lift, that takes people from the Arborstone (explorable area) to the Arborstone (outpost). If the player character arrives early, he will provide information on what must be done first.

Unfortunately, one of the key members on the council has been held up on a trip to Kaineng City. Apparently, there was some trouble at Tahnnakai Temple. They should have returned by now, but we have just learned that the emperor has been unable to see them because of some trouble at Tahnnakai Temple. <Character Name> should return to the temple and speak with the emperor.
