- Alternatively, they can be unlocked by Helena (Zaishen Keeper) like any other pet by paying their Prestige Unlocking cost:
- 15
plus 100
or
- 80,000 Balthazar Faction
- 15
- There is a rare miniature version of this animal.
Trivia
- The panda was removed as an animal companion from Factions just before its release in 2006; it was reintroduced in the February 9, 2012 game update, as part of the conclusion of Winds of Change.
- According to ANet, the pet was removed because China did not allow depictions of a dead member of an endangered species. [1]
- Previously, the only panda in the game was Ling Wong, who appears only during The Red Frog.
- There was also a Panda that acted as a collector at the Farewell to Gaile in Shing Jea Monastery.
