The Piercing Axe is a common type of axe that drops across all campaigns. Unlike most other axes, it deals piercing damage instead of slashing damage.

Like the Jitte and Colossal Pick that deal nonstandard damage for their weapon types, the Piercing Axe cannot be generated at the PvP creation screen and thus remains a PvE-only drop.

Dye affects the wrapping around the axe's handle. The default color can be closely replicated using red dye.
