Pink Day in LA '07
Last year, on June 16th, 2007, a great event took place in the Lions Arch International Districts, under the watchful eye of DRGN. Pink Day in LA was a shot at showing others that gamers care about real-life situations. To do this, we wanted to help bring awareness to gamers about the facts and truths of Breast Cancer.
During the event, we attempted to get as many people possible to dye their armor pink, to show support and we were successful. we got a total of three districts full of pink-armor wearing support!
And our message even broke the language barrier as we had a Taiwan GM promote the event, as well as translate the speech into Taiwanese!
We thank everyone who showed up for the event and dyed their armor pink! Stay cool, and keep pink!
