Objectives

• Speak with Qao Lin when you are ready for combat.
• Position the Imperial Guards in defensive positions and utilize your Improvised Fire Bombs. There is only a short time before they breach the gates!
• Defeat the attacking Tengu.
• Interim Headmaster Mhenlo must survive.
• See Guardsman Qao Lin for your reward.

Cynn: "There you are! Did you honestly think you could hide from me!?"

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "Cynn? I wasn't hiding, I... Well, now is not the time. It is fortunate you've arrived. We're under attack!"

Cynn: "Bah! You always have an excuse to avoid these conversations. I'm not going to wait around forever, you know!"

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "Please, I beg of you... Help us protect the monastery and I'll have whatever conversations you want."

Cynn: "Oh no, you're not putting this off again. You're going to marry me, our wedding WILL be nicer than Gwen's, and you're going to like it!"

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "I...but...but..."

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "...Fine. Cynn, will you marry me?"

Cynn: "What a wonderful suprise! Yes! A thousand times yes! Now get away from my man, you Sensali savages!"

(After defeating the last enemies)

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "We've done it! We won!"

Apprentice Zhi: "We...*hic*...won? Wait, what did we win? Was it more wine!? I think I need a nap..."

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "Thank you, <Party leader>. Without you the monastery surely would have fallen."

Canthan Guard: "Headmaster, our scouts report Ministry of Purity boats on the horizon."

<Party leader>: "Always so timely...it seems it is time for us to take our leave."

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "Leave? But you're the heroes of the day!"

<Party leader>: "I've seen what the Ministry does to heroes that do not share their convictions."

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "I heard rumors about your falling out with the Ministry, but I did not realize the extent of your disagreement. Perhaps if I speak with them on your behalf. I could speak with Reiko..."

<Party leader>: "I thank you for the offer, but I think it's due time I speak with her myself. Besides, I think someone else is waiting to speak with you..."

Cynn: "Oh Mhenlo, we have some planning to do!"

Interim Headmaster Mhenlo: "By the Six, what have I agreed to?"
