Is it just me, or is this skill broken as the ace of spades in terms of Dervish Forms? Bubbinska 12:34, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- yes i think it keep dervish froms up forever in pve, that fun.. --Bob 12:43, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- The forms were abused in PvP, hmmm Grenth comes to mind. Not sure if recharging of disabled forms was intended or not but at least it won't affect PvP.--Bane of Worlds (talk • contribs) 15:38, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Verified it does recharge forms when it ends--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:206.45.164.254 .
I'm not entirely convinced that this was an accident. The way the avatars normally work isn't really conducive to PvE usage - 60 seconds' duration followed by 60 seconds' downtime (give or take a few seconds either way). Fights with an individual mob in PvE rarely last more than 20 - 25 seconds, and you often only get to fight one more mob before it runs out. Allowing Avatars to be used every 30 seconds or so in PvE is actually quite a good gameplay decision by Anet, and the fact that it's a PvE-only skill avoids all the 'ITS 2.3% TOO POWERFUL, NERF PLZ' GvG whiners. - If you nerf the avatar-reloading side of the skill, it will make it useless. Or even worse. 91.165.232.183 15:15, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yup, to me the avatars are the only thing I would value this skill for. If they remove that feature they might as well remove the skill. Dervish Skills recharge pretty fast otherwise.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:68.250.213.15 .
- I find that it combines well with Heart of Fury and aura of holy might to keep up attack speed and boost attack power.82.153.4.142 13:24, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Usable in PvP?
Can we get a confirmation that this skill is allowed in pvp enviroments (RA, TA, HA, GvG, etc.)?
- Can't be, it's a PvE skill (dependent on sunspear rank) Bubbinska 10:53, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you kind sir.
shame that there's only hero skill trainers so it's unusable for players. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:83.146.214.230 .
- Um, you have it backwards. Hero skill trainers give the skill to you AND the heroes of that profession, minus title skills such as SS rebirth signet. See Hero Skill Trainer--Raph

- Hero skill trainers are exactly the same as normal skill trainers, except they can teach you skills you don't have the profession for and have a much smaller selection of skills (a wider selection of PvE-only skills, however). <>Sparky, the Tainted 07:11, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Assassins need this.
Motion to expand the skill's usage to Assassins. Okay, Arenanet, please take it seriously so I don't need to take this to a petition website!

Incorrect Note
It says "with enough Mysticism, Form skills can be kept up indefinitely". But the attribute is Sunspear Rank. So shouldn't it say "with enough Sunspear Rank, Form skills can be kept up indefinitely"?
I thinks it's refering to increasing mysticism to allow for the recharge and effect time of eternal aura. If the total time for the form is 40 seconds (recharge time + duration effect) then you should be able to recast the form without having a gap.
This + Light of Deldrimor
The question is, does "Anyone using this skill for damage should consider using Light of Deldrimor instead, because of the lower recharge and cost, and bigger AoE" deserve to be a note on the page? I feel that it's damage is a secondary effect; the primary effect being the skill recharge. So, if you are going to take this skill for the damage, yes, you'll have already looked at Light of Deldrimor. If you're using it for recharge, the bonus damage is icing on the cake. --JonTheMon 19:29, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
- The fact is you don't necessarily think of LoD. Let's figure out you're A/D or whatever and you need some good damage output. You look for a skill in sin and dervish skills, then in PvE skills, but you may not figure out anyway that LoD and EA can be quite similar for the use you make of them. The note should fix this.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Ayla (talk).
- Ok, have you looked at the dervish skills? Heart of Holy Flame, Balthazar's Rage, Zealous Renewal all do PBAoE holy damage. It's not just those two; PBAoE holy damage isn't that special. --JonTheMon 13:07, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Because someone is going to ask
Renewing it prematurely will not cause the instant recharge clause to take effect, a la TNTF. -- Armond Warblade

- Killing it prematurely with skills that use up an enchantment however does recharge it:) (Ixillius 23:08, 31 January 2009 (UTC))
Arcane Echo
if you use arcane echo so you can use this skill twice, does one eternal aura recharge the other? Cowabunga 05:38, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
