Teleport

Teleportation refers to the act of instantaneous travel between two points.

In Guild Wars, teleportation is used by:

• Map travel
• Resurrection Shrines
• Teleportation skills (see below)
• Teleporters
• The portals in The Dragon's Lair.
• Some NPCs, such as the Lich.

Teleportation skills

Player skills

• Consume Corpse (to corpse)
• Necrotic Traversal (to corpse)
• Rebirth (resurrected party member to user)
• Sunspear Rebirth Signet (resurrected party member to user)
• Unyielding Aura (resurrected party member to user)

Monster skills

• Echoing Banishment (monster skill)
• Soul Vortex (monster skill)
• Summoning Shadows (monster skill)

Notes

• Teleportation is similar to shadow stepping, but ignores the restriction on pathing. This means players can use teleportation to move through obstacles such as walls or gates.
• Unlike shadow step, if you are carrying a bundle, you will not drop it while teleporting.
