This template is for Administrator use when temporarily protecting pages from editing due to recent vandalism incidents. Adding this template does not protect the page; it is simply a way of explaining the reasoning behind the protection. This template categorizes pages into Category:Temporarily protected pages, which is a subcategory of Category:Protected pages.
