My Story I grew up in a little town in British Columbia, Canada, and now I live in Vancouver. I was an exchange student during my high school years to Japan, and now I'm a freelance translator for various types of translation, including videogames. I started playing Guild Wars in March of 2007 after constant some nagging from my S.O., and haven't looked back since. I mostly enjoy games with intricate or fantastical storylines, such as the Professor Layton series for the Nintendo DS and most Final Fantasy games ( FFVI).
Things I to do in Guild Wars
Elite Missions
Dungeons
Urgoz's Warren The Deep The Underworld Fissure of Woe
Slavers' Exile Bogroot Growths Shards of Orr ...or any dungeon, really!
Other Stuff
Farming Vaettirs Holiday Events Missions w/ Friends Occasional HAing w/ Friends Looking at the Pretty Sights
Cheese of any kind. Blue, Camembert, Brie, Goat; bring it on!
My dogs. We have two chihuahuas that are the cutest things on the planet.
Terry Brooks' Shannara series. I've read most, and I'm just finishing up his latest two now.
Linguistics-related things. I majored in it in university, and it saddens me that being a field linguist doesn't earn you a decent living.
Descriptivist grammarians. Face it; languages evolve with the times, and studying these changes is far more interesting than trying to, as my good friend once put it, "trying to stop a leak with a sponge."
