Project: Missions notes

Info-Logo.png Note: Under Construction: This section was written in early 2012 for future editors.

Pages have bloated with non-monitored lazy edits. Most writtings were included in the Notes sections as users were lame and didn't bother to re-arrange and re-phrase the additions in their respective sections instead. Other mistakes had resulted in walkthroughs having mixed information of Hard mode tips as well as Skill recommendations all together.

Common mistakes made by myself were:

  • Composition: Failed to properly separate different aspects:
    • Orientation,
    • Description,
    • Difficulties and
    • Strategies/Suggestions.

(should be in that sequence).

  • Over-linking: If we are going to link to other pages, do it once only and as earlier as possible.
  • Alternative routes: Missions can be done in different ways but alternatives are valuable only when the goal can be compromised.
  • Thumb images: Do not add images that are already hosted in other pages. If incorporating a new image to a page, only do to support text with screenshots that help to understand what it is being said.

Guild_Wars_Wiki:Formatting/NPCs#Skills

Multiple skill sets may be divided into subsections. The section headers for these subsections should concisely and clearly identify the conditions or situations for the skill sets. If two skill sets differ only slightly, consider appending a simple explanatory note in parentheses to the skill in question.

NPCs with multiple skill sets

Include subheadings for each variant. Omit subheadings if the NPC only has one skillset.

==Skills== <!-- example, using subheadings -->
===Level 20, Aeromancer===
12 [[Air Magic]] (15 Air Magic in [[Hard mode]])
* {{skill icon|Air Attunement}}
* {{skill icon|Lightning Bolt}}
