A rare type of spear that is larger than common spears and has a glowing blue animation in the 'veins' of the spear.
Acquisition
Dye
Dye affects the entire spear. The engraving on the spear's head will dye inverted to the color applied. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.

Other items with this appearance:
Bug.After 5 hours logged on your character, the animation of the voltaic spear will freeze and not animate. Simply restart Guild Wars if this happens.
Trivia
Enchanted Spears wield this item, yet they do not drop it.
