- "It's just a flesh wound." is a reference to the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in which the Black Knight makes this declaration after having his arms cut off. Additionally, the character in the skill icon is missing an arm.
- This is one of the two Skill pins that were given out with the Guild Wars Nightfall Collector's Edition; the other was Vow of Silence.
- The figure in the skill icon is wearing Sunspear armor.
