- "Excuse me. Could you do me a favor? I left some of my tools back in my camp, but I can't leave this monument unattended for too long. Some unscrupulous corsair could steal my equipment and research papers, and I can't afford that. Could you keep an eye on this monument for me while I go get the tools? It should only take me a few minutes."
- Accept: "Wow,someone willing to go get their own stuff! I'll totally stay here and take the easy job."
- Decline: "I'm kind of busy, sorry."

- Typically, players will encounter this quest at a low level, which can make defending the monument very difficult. It is advisable therefore to level up a little before attempting this quest. Alternatively, wait until you also have the quest Queen of the Quarry, which provides some additional Sunspear guards that can double the party size and make the defense much easier.
- At low level, you may succeed if you try and drag foes to a group of fellows sunspears located at south-west of your starting position. You will die several time doing so, but a Resurrection spot is very near.
