Alpine Seeds are carried by the plant creatures in the Shiverpeak Mountains, and are hardy enough to take root and grow in that frigid climate. These seeds are prized by some collectors as a curiosity.

- The collector Bariel Darkroot trades 5 Alpine Seeds for items that sell for 125
to a merchant. This provides a return that is over three times more than just selling the trophies by themselves.
- This item has been required by Imperial Chef Reun for his salad at the Canthan New Year festival.
- It is easily farmed in the Frozen Forest from Pinesoul which are plentiful on the road between the Copperhammer Mines and the Iron Mines of Moladune.
- It can be farmed by repeating the Hungry Devourer quest in Deldrimor Bowl where the two Succulent Juniper groups usually drop 2 seeds each, in addition to the Succulent Juniper Meat that they drop as part of the quest.
