Continuing the European trend of winners, Whats Going On [sup] placed eighth in the Swiss rounds but placed first in single elimination, defeating The Cape Is A Lie [Trim] in the final round. In Hero Battles, The Lucky Pig skillfully took first place, defeating Squirrel in the final round. Congratulations to all September guilds and players! Also, we are adding September prediction points to the Xunlai Agent and updating the tonic in the Zaishen Chest. If you made September predictions in the Xunlai Tournament House, check your neighborhood Xunlai Agent to claim your Tournament Reward Points.

We could scare you with our ghoulish puns, but we'll let Mad King Thorn take care of that. In the meantime, we're accepting submissions for the 2008 Guild Wars Halloween Art Contest. We've got fantastic prizes for the top winners, and we'll showcase their creations right here on the official website. You have until October 27th to get your entry in to us, so get cracking!

The Last Pride [EvIL] is a fearsome and familiar name in the PvP world. After dominating the GvG scene for an extensive period of time, EvIL retired. But now, EvIL is back with some of its original members in a new guild called The Return. This newly formed guild is just as competitive as the old school EvIL, and has their sights set on GvG domination.

August's GvG championship finished up with a battle between two veteran competitive guilds from Europe, where Stealing Society [StS] defeated Bruderschaft Der Verdammnis [BdV] in the final round. For Hero Battles, I Stone I conquered Massacre Way to become our new August champion. Congratulations to all August guilds and players! Skill usage charts, GvG results, and 1v1 results are here.
Also, we are adding August prediction points to the Xunlai Agent and updating the tonic in the Zaishen Chest. If you predicted for August in the Xunlai Tournament House, check your neighborhood Xunlai Agent after today's update to claim your Tournament Reward Points. Please note that Tournament Reward Points are distributed several minutes after the game is updated. We ask that you wait several minutes after you update your game before checking Tolkano.

To celebrate the upcoming release of Guild Wars Trilogy and a new 2008 version of Guild Wars Game of the Year Edition, we're adding two new allied NPCs: M.O.X. the golem hero and the Fire Imp combat ally. To learn more about these characters and how to obtain them, check out this page.
