Air magic is severely boring and underpowered. At the moment, it appears that the only useful Air Magic based builds are Lightning Surge(which is only good because it allows knockdown without exhaustion), Invoke Lightning(good luck if someone drains your enchants), and the Dual Attune blinder build.
Lightning Surge doesn't really do enough damage, and no one can keep up with the energy requirement for very long..
Dual attune blinder gets boring really quickly as your only spammable damage skills are single-target.
A few problems with individual skills are:
- Lightning Orb(PvP only). Not competitive with Fireball. Against a 60 Armor Level at 16 attribute level, Fireball does 119 damage in a small area, while lightning orb does 140 damage to a single target. Same cast time. The recharge times are comparable, but lightning orb costs more energy.
- Chain Lightning. This skill is completely garbage ever since it got nerfed. I suggest increasing energy to 15 and removing exhaustion.
- Arc Lightning. Completely obsolete conditional needs to be changed to "If your target has an enchantment".
- Lightning Hammer. Costs way too much for its damage.
