Angelic Bond Angelic Bond

ShadowFog's Issue--ShadowFog 04:59, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Issue
Unlike Life Bond this affects all kind of damage but the damage from this skill is not been reduce thus there's no difference if the damage was split because the whole damage is still being fully done to the team.
Skills cant be removed at one's leisure.
2 second cast time
10 energy cost
A 2 second cast time with a 10 energy cost is almost impossible to maintain a constant DP for shout/chants(requiring adrenaline) to restore lost energy.
Almost no use in PvP
Suggestion 1
Rework or new function
Suggestion 2
Elite Skill. For 10...30...35 seconds, all damage suffered by target other ally is divided equally with you. The damage you receive this way is reduced by 0...40...50%
Suggestion 3
Elite Skill. For 10...30...35 seconds, all damage suffered by target other ally is divided equally with you. Each time you receive more than 200...64...30 in damage this way, you gain one strike of adrenaline. When this skill ends, you lose all adrenaline.
NOTE: This sugestion might seem broken by the duration of the skill since the Paragon might gain a huge boost in adrenaline and not see a drawback even thought it has a 2 seconds casting time which makes it easy to interrupt. Still the intention for this suggestion is the same, gain adrenaline while suffering spike damage.
Suggestion 4
Elite Skill. For 0...28...35 seconds, half of the damage target ally takes from attacks is redirected to you. Redirected damage is reduced by 3...25...30.(NOTE: Same as Life Bond but with duration.)

Shao's Issue--Shao 12:22, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Issue
Due to the December 12 update, this Elite is now very conditional, taking away from the control of affecting a desired target ally.
Skill is now less practical in a PvE situation, now set aside for more useful situational Elites
More applicable in PvP situations as opposed to PvE
Suggestion 1
Restore previous functionality as Angelic Bond (PvE) and maintain current functionality as Angelic Bond (PvP)

Angelic Bond (PvE): Elite Skill. For 10...30...35 seconds, all damage suffered by target other ally is divided equally with you.

Angelic Bond (PvP): Elite Skill. For 10 seconds, the next time an ally within earshot would take fatal damage, that damage is negated and that ally is healed for 20...164...200 Health. Angelic Bond ends on all other allies.

Suggestion 2
Restore previous functionality completely, add 5 sec. casting time and easily interrupted.
Suggestion 3
Angelic Bond: Elite Skill. For 10...30...35 seconds, all damage suffered by target other ally is divided equally with you. The damage you receive in this way is increased by 15...10...5.

NOTE: One of ANet's concerns was that some players who were facing against someone who was under the effects of Angelic Bond would get frustrated because AB is an effective way of reducing damage. Because AB has a relatively quick recharge time, changing the functionality as suggested above will make the Paragon more cautious as to when the skill should be used, and on who.

Suggestion 4
Restore previous functionality completely for both PvE and PvP and remove current (new) functionality.

Angelic Bond: Elite Skill. For 10...30...35 seconds, all damage suffered by target other ally is divided equally with you.

ShadowFog's Issue--ShadowFog 23:42, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Issue
The skill is now a Divine Intervention skill, like a duplicate.
Totally useless like the last version.
No play in either version of the game.
Recharge time kills the skill.
Duration time also ruins this skill.
Suggestion
Re-work.

User:98.168.191.84 Issue

Issue
Divine Intervention version 2.0 and a lame version at that.
Only 10 seconds not long enough
Worthless in both pve/pvp
30 second cooldown is terrible
Why burn the elite slot on this when the time you are using this skill means you are playing incorrectly
Suggestion
Revert back to the old version.

1337H4X0RK1NG's Issue

Issue
Elite version of Divine Intervention that is worse than Divine Intervention
Its an elite skill that is worse than a non-elite
It's in a profession/attribute thats worse than Divine Intervention
Its effect fails epically
It wastes your elite
It wastes a skill slot
Suggestion 1
Buff it to be an elite version of Divine Intervention, give it something like 20 recharge, +50...250...300 health.
Suggestion 2
Rework it completely again, give it an effect that isn't a worse duplicate of a monk skill, and make it actually useful for a paragon and not just a <insert random profession>'s skill given to a Paragon.

Ikimono "random IP"'s Issue

Issue
1 second casting, spike intervention skill, that is worse than any other spike intervention skill in the game.
Elite skill that is not effective in any part of the game
Currently the worst elite in the game
Has no synergy with any other paragon skills
30 second recharge
1 Second casting time spike intervention, which occurs in 1/4 a second or less.
Sereously, WTF were you guys thinking other than, "We don't want people to play paragon anymore so lets slowly nerf them out of existance."
Suggestion 1
Revert to old version
Suggestion 2
Elite Chant: 10E, 1 second casting, 15/20 second recharge, "For 10 seconds, the next time any allies within earshot takes damage, that damage is reduced by 10...30 and that ally gains 10...40 HP"
^ party wide reversal of damage, would make it a new and valuable elite to any team, PVE or PvP, Balanced due to recharge and small damage reduction as well as mild health gain. Probably move to motivation, however, still makes sense to be in leadership.--72.189.85.14 02:27, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Complete Chage 3
Elite Skill: Any time Target Ally receives a condition, you instead receive it and it's duration is increased by X...X you have -4...-1 health degeneration for each condition you are currently suffering.--72.189.85.14 14:10, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

66.192.104.13 22:15, 17 January 2009 (UTC)'s Issue

Issue
Has nothing to do with "Bond"
Suggestion
Change it back to the old version. Currently it is god awful.
