Guild Bank Discussion

Has been suggested many times, with plenty of reason why. This feature NEEDS to be implemented. Also helps guild members work together towards large sums without any chance of being scammed, on purpose nor on accident. --Elven Chaos 21:18, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Totally agree. Sacred 09:53, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Having a guild coffer for guild purchases would be nice, but I haven't had any problem with just donating to guild leaders in any of my guilds... that said, I've thought about this before, and I think the bank idea could be expanded further to include player borrowing since there is no inflation and gold and item value have no "real" value. Basically, have a flag on the item that makes it unsellable for less than the remaining debt. Garnish gold drops to pay any owed debt (maybe 20%) to avoid the player just not paying it. If the character is deleted, kicked, trashes or salvages the item (it can't be dropped) or quits the guild, the item is removed from the game and the remaining balance returned to the coffer. Gold can never be borrowed, only a loan against the guild coffers for items (and only for weapons, armor, shields, etc). It would help immensely to have an auction house and have realistic values and a more robust market - no more 55gp offers from merchants when the item is worth 150000gp in auction (like I've seen some greens). A guild leader could set credit limits for borrowing and use guild coffers to buy guild services (perhaps even set guild dues, but these would have to max at something reasonable). --Falseprophet 18:59, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Its a good idea but looking at other games that already have this...WoW has guild bank but people still ninja the goods...only if there was a ninja-proof bank =[ 58.96.71.52 02:11, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
