Yes Sacrifice Damage Displayed Wrong

I wasnt sure exactly where to place this but it has been a bug for other use of the word that has been bugging me for awhile. The damage dealt to the player is displayed as the -20 (yellow) that indicates you're damaging a foe, versus the -20 (red) which indicates that you're being damaged. I noticed this when working on a build utilizing sacrifice skills, and I was constantly trying to figure out where the extra damage was coming from only to later realize that it was the amount that I was sacrificing. If this can be remedied it'd be greatly appreciated. 69.158.60.52 12:25, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

I don't read this as a bug. I read this as a design decision for interface colours. But I may be misunderstanding. Is the suggestion that there be a different colour from red and yellow, to show sacrifice? --Gaile User gaile 2.png 16:49, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

No, the point that I was getting at was that the sacrifice colour is showing up yellow (damage dealt) as opposed to red (damage taken) which in the case with sacrificed life. At present I cannot differentiate the damage I'm dealing to the monster to the damage I've taken due to sacrifice.69.158.70.244 20:07, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Technically it's both, so neither colour would count as a bug, but I agree that red would be better. -- Gordon Ecker 06:04, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
As has already been mentioned, when you sacrifice life you are both dealing and receiving damage. Which one you think of as being more true is a matter of perspective. I can understand how red might be preferred over yellow, but there are no plans to change the UI color for displaying sacrificed Health at this time. Thank you for pointing this out, though. -Kim Chase 00:24, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes Hero Skill Trainers

Hello, there is a bug with hero skill trainers in gwen , they don't sell any Gw:en skill for warrior, ranger, elementalist, necromance, monk and mesmer, but they sell Gw:en skill for all not core professions (paragon, assassin, ritualist and dervish). Please fix it, thx. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Ainvar .

Yes, they're Eye of the North trainers, yet they act as Prophecies trainers. The normal skill trainers offer the general Eye of the North skills, plus any unlocked Prophecies skills. Not sure how that works for someone who doesn't own Prophecies (I suppose they wouldn't have a way to unlock those skills in the first place)...
For the Hero Skill Trainers, they seem to offer just a general selection of Prophecies skills for any of the core professions. Stuff like Heal Party and whatnot. For anyone with a core profession in Eye of the North, they're left high and dry if they wanted to trade in those skill points for some actual new skills... --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Ĵĩôřũĵĩ Đēŗāķō.>.cнаt^ 07:46, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Those are Core skills they offer, not Prophecies skills. But, yeah, the core profs have to shell out gold for the new skills while the others don't. --Valshia 00:07, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
I will pass this along. It may be intended, or it may be an oversight, but I will try to learn that, and thanks for the report. (I had not noticed that myself.) --Gaile User gaile 2.png 17:15, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes Great Dwarf Weapon

I'm not sure if anyone other then Izzy does continual check of the bugs listed on his page, so I'm leaving a note here regarding this seeing as you've been actively checking you discussion page more so then the others. Great Dwarf Weapon is a great PvE-Only skill but unfortunately only the knockdown is applying to this skill, the dmg bonus does not. If I did wrong by putting this here please move it, but since Izzy's current status says he's actively working on GW2 and won't be able to check page as often, I thought this was the next best idea. Thanks in advance for any responce you can give :) Xitoahc 14:28, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

At the top of this page, on the right, there is a small table listing some Bug Report pages. I think this matter belong on the Miscellaneous Bugs section, although I'm not sure. And don't worry, people at Arena Net (apparently) read and act on the Bug reports - some of the bugs reported there have been fixed already, for example : ) Erasculio 16:25, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
I believe this was fixed in an October update. -Kim Chase 18:20, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Droknar's Wand and Dronkar's Staff

The inventory Icons for these two items are the same. I accidentally chose the wand when I wanted a staff and now I'm stuck with it. I know this probably isn't a glitch but I thought it was worth mentioning as it causes a problem for people like me who accidentally choose the wrong one. Dancing Gnome 19:26, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Also droknar weapon are Id'ed and display sell price. I dont know if it a bug but it weird and i dont think it been reported any place. --Bob 10:32, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
The identical icons for Droknar wand and staves have been reported. As for the sale price, I believe this is intentional. Most unique items are already identified when you get them. Some unique items (like the end-game items for Factions) don't display a price because their sale price at a vendor is 0. At least, that's how I understand it. Thanks to you both! -Kim Chase 19:38, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Here's an Idea

Stolen from another bug report page, here's a process that would work really well:

  • I will note when I refer the bug to the appropriate team by notating that section with a Yes flag.
  • Members can then help note when the changes go into the game by moving the fix -- once it is confirmed to be in the game by the Update Notes or by actual observation -- to an archive of Fixed Bugs that is a subpage of this article.
  • Any assistance would be gratefully accepted! :) --Gaile User gaile 2.png 22:15, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
As you can see, we've used this idea. We now have Reported for when a bug has been referred, and Yes when the bug has been fixed by an update or otherwise resolved. Please post the date of the update, if applicable, when adding a green checkmark. Thanks! -Kim Chase 19:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Stupid suggestion maybe, but would it be an idea to archive all Yes marked bugs to keep the size of this page under control ?? Clan Yumemiru 10:41, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes /report <name> doesn't always report that name.

I got whispered by a gold seller a few times, so I was going to report him but he was out of zone all the time. So I waited with /report <name> in my chat bar, and as soon as he whispered me again, I hit return to see if I could catch him. This time the report window did come up, and I hit enter. I didn't realise that I'd reported the wrong person because I had another player targetted. Can it please be changed so that if I've typed in a name with my /report command that it'll only report that name, and to only use the my target if I typed /report without a name. Sadie2k 11:00, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

This isn't the place to be posting suggestions. This place is meant for bugs. — Eloc 17:05, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
If i say /report Joe, and it ends up reporting Dave then its a bug. Sadie2k 17:50, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
That's a very good point. We're looking into if we want the target to over-ride or not. Thanks for the report. -Kim Chase 00:19, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
This turned out be based on confusion based on how report responded when attempting to report a player name that is not in your district. The 2/29/08 Update added an error to make it more apparent when this occurs. So now, if you type /report Joe while targeting Dave, and Joe is not in your district, you should get an error message saying that Joe cannot be reported and why. Let us know if you're still having issues with /report. -63.126.183.110 19:03, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Looks like it works perfectly now. If I type in the name, it'll either report that name, or tell me it can't, it's not taking my target unless I /report without a name. Sadie2k 22:19, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes Henchmen Bug

Hello, there are some lvl 20 henchmen in Nightfall campaign who don't use any elite skill. They are Odurra(mesmer) and Gehraz (dervish). Please fix this problem. Ainvar 12:45, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

This has already been covered, it's a design decision not a bug. EDIT: In fact, if you read the articles for Odurra or Gehraz you would have seen a note saying just that. - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 18:05, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
IT's a bug cause all other henchmen of lvl 20 have elites and they don't.
It was intentional, so it is not a bug. The designers decided to not give them an elite skill, thus it is not a bug User-brains12-scale-sig.png brains12 19:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
I will "check mark" this one, since it has been answered. -- Gaile User gaile 2.png 04:35, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes door bug

There is a bug with the locked door (the door you need the dungeon key for) in the Forgewight dungeon of Slaver's exile. It allows both human and enemy players to attack through the door (arrows, wanding, etc.). Jaxgreystar 17:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

This has been reported. Thank you. -Kim Chase 00:32, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes LOL lighting <3

Hey, there's a lighting glitch for "flame braziers" in Raven's Point. When you hover over a brazier, it shows the lighting cube for the flame. Unless this is some magical essence the flame has, I think it's a graphical glitch. ;) Happens on all shader qualities. Vael Victus 03:03, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

This is a very old problem, first seen with the Ether Seals in the Ring of Fire Islands. Doesn't show up for all players, but sure does show up for many. -- Gem (gem / talk) 09:08, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Hmmmm... think it's a video card compatibility issue? I will ask QA about it. --Gaile User gaile 2.png 15:38, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Probably Video Card or Computer every computer to me is weird and does different things...lol. I have 2 computers that run gw both have their differences... - Chrisworld 14:31, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes Frostmaw Spawn

The Frostmaw Spawn bosses in Frostmaw's Burrows don't seem to use any skills. -- Gordon Ecker 06:01, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Never mind, I haven't been there in a while, and this seems to have been fixed. -- Gordon Ecker 01:40, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
I was just there, and I can confirm that they now use skills. -- Gordon Ecker 08:07, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the confirmation, Gordon. I will "check mark" this one. -- Gaile User gaile 2.png 04:37, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

YesWinds Winds

This skill affects everyone instead of only affecting foes like its' description says. -- Gordon Ecker 01:26, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure if I should check this off or not, but this this was fixed in the September 8th update. -- Gordon Ecker 10:12, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
It is perfectly fine for you to check something off. You even posted the date of the update, which is ideal. Thank you very much. -Kim Chase 23:18, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Gadd and Oola

Dunno if this is the right spot to put this, but in many text descriptions of Gadd, he is clearly stated as being a Necromancer, Livia even claiming to have learnt a lot about Necromancy from him, yet when you watch his skills he is clearly using Elementalist Air Spiking skills. His armor is also far more appropriate for a Necromancer (I wouldn't mind that armor for myself actually). Oola uses Necromancer skills that would be a better fit for Gadd, and Gadd's Ele skills would make more sense on Oola, since she is a Golemancer. Is this a hiccup by the design team? And can we get a fix?

We're asking about this. Thanks for the report. -Kim Chase 01:54, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Also, Oola's Focus, Oola's Staff and Oola's Wand are all Ritualist items linked to Restoration Magic. -- Gordon Ecker 07:18, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Gadd was incorrectly called a Necromancer in the text for Gadd's Encampment. This was changed in a recent update. Everything else is by design. Thanks again. -Kim Chase 01:22, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes Lightbringer title and Lightbringer Gaze not working

Hi, I want to inform that currently Lightbringer title and Lightbringer Gaze aren't working at all. Probably one of the last updates "broke" something - today we try to finish Ravenheart Gloom quests and discover that LB Gaze says "Invalid target" when targeting abbaddon demons and active title doesn't increase damage done to them or reduce damage done to us... Thorel 17:51, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

This was fixed in the October 17th Update. Ben Kirsch 02:30, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Hunt Rampage

Hunt Rampage in hard mode claims to end after 200 seconds. On my last vanquish trip I noticed that the timer decreased really quickly. Instead of over 3 minutes it took less than a minute to end. I had had the rampage on me for quite some time and I didn't watch the progress of the timer at first, so I'm not sure if there is a system that makes the timer smaller every time it refreshes, but an effect like that isn't documented anywhere. Can you confirm whether this is a bug or a feature of some kind? -- Gem (gem / talk) 19:57, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

In normal mode, Hunt Rampage is always 45 seconds and refreshes each kill. I wouldn't expect hard mode to be much different. Bad text description, perhaps? --Valshia 22:32, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
More testing needs to be done with Hard Mode's Hunt Rampage, I think. I, too, have noticed that it is much shorter than 200 seconds. I'll try to time it the next time I'm willing to waste a rampage! :) --Mystisteel 00:12, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
I guess they just forgot to modify the time to be longer on hard mode even though the skill description states it to be much longer. This raises a question wether other hunt bonuses have the same problem. -- Gem (gem / talk) 23:23, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
I'll have to look into it. I'm fairly certain the 10 minute boss bonus is correct (I took a long break today, and it was still counting down when I got back). I guess it's time to break out the stopwatch! :) --Mystisteel 00:12, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
You guys were right! This was fixed in the 10/25/08 Update. Thanks. -Kim Chase 00:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes Missing horsemen

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but during the Halloween 2007 event, the collectors did not appear in Henge of Denravi, Champion's Dawn, Kodlonu Hamlet or Sunspear Great Hall. -- Gordon Ecker 00:31, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Hmmm, they show up just fine when running a test, and it looks like other players documented them as appearing... I wonder what was going on when you weren't seeing them? Maybe they weren't showing up in certain districts? I'm closing this out for now, but we'll keep an eye out next Halloween. Thanks. -Kim Chase 19:21, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

YesBlack Lotus Strike

This skill fails if used against a non-hexed foe. -- Gordon Ecker 04:29, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

This has been fixed in the November 29th update. -- Gordon Ecker 04:03, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes Enemy classification

Not sure where to post this but for some reason titans aren't considered demons. Testing with a +10 vs demon shield (stygian aegis) gives no extra defense against every enemy I have tested so far, which includes the titans in Hell's Precipice and the ones in Torment. I think being a minion of abaddon made from tortured souls of the dead pretty much counts as demon, right? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:76.242.44.212 .

Or undead, but according to the game mechanics they aren't in either category, like the Shiro'ken. -- Gordon Ecker 01:26, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Haha, yeah for lore I guess the Titans are pretty demon-like. They are Titans though, not demons. By that I mean you would have to have a Sword of Titan Slaying in order to get a bonus against them. Unfortunately, they don't exist. You'll have to settle for using your Stygian Aegis against Torment creatures and Grentches. -Kim Chase 00:49, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

YesZaishen Chest

There is a Zaishen Chest spawning in the Isle of the Nameless. Someone has blocked off access to the Isle, but I have heard if you don't have RA unlocked and you create a new PvP char I think they spawn on the Isle and thus can still use the chest. 122.104.226.221 01:24, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

This has been fixed. Ben Kirsch 01:08, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

YesInner Fire

I think this has been reported elsewhere, but I'm not sure, as I can't find the previous report. Anyway, this skill doesn't seem to do anything. -- Gordon Ecker 07:35, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

This issue has been reported. Ben Kirsch 01:41, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Fixed in the March 31st 2008 update according to the update notes. Clan Yumemiru 22:06, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes Charr Bladestorm weapon bug

They wield axes instead of swords, preventing them from using their sword attack skills. -- Gordon Ecker 23:24, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

This also seems to be the case with Paw Darkflame, however I haven't tested him for unusable skills. -- Gordon Ecker 07:04, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
This was fixed in the January 31, 2008 update -- Ronduwil 07:18, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes Canthan Ambassador MAJOR Bug - Unable to View/Preview Guild Halls

This bug is a recent one, and many people cannot view or preview any guildhalls. When you select an isle off the list, nothing happens. I've asked around and this is happening to MANY people. If you look at the Canthan Ambassador Wiki page it also says towards the bottom that this happens for no apparent reason and that there is no remedy for the situation thus far. People want to buy guild halls, including me! And I can't due to this bug. There is a topic on Guild Wars Guru regarding this bug alos, and it can be found here: Link to Thread.

This was fixed in the 12/27/07 update. Thanks for the report. -Kim Chase 02:27, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but Canthan characters that have not yet left Shing Jea Island are unable to use the Ambassador in their Guild Halls to preview halls; instead they are bounced back to Shing Jea Monastery. I wonder if this is fallout from the "fix" to prevent the GH-Go-Anywhere "feature" or an oversight, though. Clan Yumemiru 14:54, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Celestial Skills

Celestial skills disappear from a skill bar after reverting back to normal from any of the Ursan Elites. 79.67.52.52 18:13, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

This was fixed in the 1/10/07 update, today. Thanks! -Kim Chase 02:23, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Wintersday 2007/2008 finale times

This year, finales were supposed to start at the same time in both Lion's Arch and Kamadan, however finales in Kamadan still start 15 minutes later like they did in 2006/2007. -- Gordon Ecker 09:36, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Gaile mentioned they would be staggered like last year on her talk page, but it was not announced anywhere else, to my knowledge. - anja talk 12:06, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
From the 12/20/2007 Update Notes "Everything leads up to the big Wintersday celebration on January 1, which will take place every three hours in Lion’s Arch and Kamadan (on the hour in Lion’s Arch and 15 minutes past the hour in Kamadan)." -Kim Chase 02:27, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
I guess the only problem is that it was omitted from this page. -- Gordon Ecker 05:35, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Unsteady Ground Fails Inappropriately

Most AoE skills, Meteor Shower, Fireball, and Churning Earth to name a few, cast to completion even if the spell's original target dies before the spell was completed. Unfortunately, Unsteady Ground does not behave that way. It really should, especially given its elite status. --Ronduwil 06:35, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Asking about this one now. Thanks for the report. -Kim Chase 01:30, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Fixed in the 1/24/08 Update. -Kim Chase 21:41, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Did Snowstorm, which has the same issue also get patched ?? Clan Yumemiru 23:41, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
I actually preferred it that way...145.94.74.23 06:59, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes Captain Denloh

Captain Denloh is currently missing from Sunspear Great Hall. -- Gordon Ecker 00:22, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Looking into it. Thanks. -Kim Chase 01:06, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
This is intentional. Thanks for the report. -Kim Chase 01:32, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Ice Dart Ice Dart

Although this is a projectile skill, it does not require a line of sight. This can be observed outside the northern entrance of the southeastern Proof of Duty room on the first level of Sepulchre of Dragrimmar, the projectiles will fire through the wall. -- Gordon Ecker 03:20, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the report. -Kim Chase 00:40, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Ice Dart is supposed to be a spell, although Shadow Form, Spellbreaker nor Obsidian Flesh makes it fail. Flame Dart, however is a skill. --Treasure Boy 08:44, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
Fixed in today's update. -- Gordon Ecker 05:26, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes Frostmaw's Burrows: Level 3 - stuck snowball

In Frostmaw's Burrows: Level 3 there is a giant snowball to the south of the exit to level 4 which is stuck on one of the stone blocks. -- Gordon Ecker 04:15, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

You sure? There are some Ice Boulders that stay put in one place until events trigger them, usually something like killing a boss. Backsword 16:19, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I tried to trigger it by killing the nearby group of Icy Stalagmites and running around the area, but I couldn't get it to move. -- Gordon Ecker 23:37, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
That snowball and it's companion earlier in the level smash barriers to allow you to proceed in on that particular level. In my experience they are always triggered by killing the nearby Frostmaw Spawn boss. Did this worm group not popup on you? --Valshia 21:25, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Last time I definitely fought the nearby Frostmaw Spawn and its' group last time, and I completed the dungeon, which means the barrier must have been destroyed after I defeated the Frostmaw Spawn. This time, the snowball seems to have been released properly while I wasn't paying attention to it (or the snowball has been removed), either way, the bug seems to have been fixed (or it may have been a one-time glitch), so I'm marking this as resolved. -- Gordon Ecker 06:57, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes Signet of Capture counts as a PvE skill

I was going to go out for another skillcap today, so I duly bought my Signet of Capture and dropped it in my skillbar, only to be greeted with the "no more than 3 PvE skills on a bar" message.

I know the limit was introduced to stop people overloading their bars with attribute-independent skills, but having SoC count towards it feels a bit strange.

To test: Equip any 3 PvE-only skills on your bar, then drop a Signet of Capture on your skillbar.

Clan Yumemiru 08:34, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

It is a PvE skill, this belongs on the GW1 suggestions page. -- Gordon Ecker 08:52, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Gordon is correct. Even though the Signet of Capture is a unique type of skill, it is still a PvE skill and subject to this restriction. -Kim Chase 19:58, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Fair enough - I guess I've become drilled in expecting skills purchasable at a regular skill trainer to be ... well, regular skills, that I never stopped to think about SoC's unique status. Clan Yumemiru 00:31, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes Snaring Web affects more than spells

The monster skill Snaring Web used by many spiders in the Eye of the Noth campaign states it slows down spell casting by 100%; in fact, it slows down skill activation by 100% (This is noted with the skill's description on its page but I haven't seen it "officially" reported here) Clan Yumemiru 21:00, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

The description was fixed to reflect the behaviour in the February 29th update. -- Gordon Ecker 03:55, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes Undead Ally?

Yes A Gate Too Far - No Destroyers on the Second Floor

The first time I completed the Norn mission A Gate Too Far, Destroyers would spawn and kill the Vaettir that are present when you draw near. However, in the last month or so whenever I have done it there have been no spawns occurring, leaving only fights against Vaettir in the entire second floor of the mission. -Binary

Oh, they're there alright -- but with some deft maneuvring and a bit of luck can avoid you most, if not all, of them. The popup area is probably very small and may cause them to not pop up. Clan Yumemiru 20:19, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Initially, we tried to bypass the Vaettir but never were successful at avoiding the Destroyers -- they always popped up and caught the party. However recently I've not seen them at all, with one pass dodging two of the Vaettir fights entirely and the other simply annihilating all three groups outright. If it is tiny, it's been changed to be tinier than it used to be and nowhere near the Vaettir groups. -Binary
I don't think there is a problem here. The destroyers are still popping up, and I don't think anything has been changed. I guess your party must just be lucky, or good at maneuvering. -Kim Chase 19:35, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Just another data point: I've been farming nm books so have done this quests several times recently. The only monster group you can't easily avoid is just after the door in the middle of the level, so that's the only group I've been encountering. About 1 of every 3 times the destroyers don't spawn for me. Personally, I like the variety! Cassie 19:30, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes Zho

Zho doesn't spawn in the Norn Fighting Tournament for some reason. I repeatedly did the tournament for 3 hours and she never spawned, hence I can't get my book for the miniature Black Moa. — Eloc 09:38, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, after trying for another half hour tonight, I finally fought her, but I didn't get the Journal from her, but why? — Eloc 03:26, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Because you didn't beat her? Or maybe it's because your luck is horrible. Calor Talk 03:32, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Note that it magically appears in the inventory and doesn't get dropped. — Galil Talk page 03:34, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
According to our own Norn Fighting Tournament page, she gives you the journal the first time you meet her, win or lose... but I can't confirm this as I too have never run into her. - THARKUN User Tharkun sig.png 03:35, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
The page says win or lose, I lost and it never appeared in my inventory. — Eloc 16:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Zho only gives you her journal if you win. It looks like that was a mistake on the page that was later removed. You should be able to get the journal if you fight her again and beat her. Have you had any luck yet? -Kim Chase 17:24, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't know, I will try tonight as past few days I've been getting back into Starcraft :D — Eloc 05:52, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, tested it and finally she spawned after an hour of trying tonight and I beat her and I got the book. Thanks for your help, Kim. — Eloc 06:51, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes 5200 dmg in 10 secs. Rampage in alliance batttles

Use dark aura and shadow walk, then cast any low cost / fast recharge time enchantments on yourself. The enchantment fails because of the side effect of shadow walk, but the dark aura effect (aoe damage) still applies. Do I need to say that a festival hat wont do the trick with this one ? Yes Raisu Palace gate issue

Not sure where to put this bug, depending on what is the bug. Anyways. I was vanquishing Raisu palace and was going by an apparently closed gate, which had enemies behind it, when they suddenly came out through the "closed" gate and attacked my party.I have a screenshot where the gate is, and I checked the gate on the opposite of the area (since it was a mirrired layout) and that gate shows and acts closed. So either one really is open, or there's a missing "wall". Image can be found here. Yukiko User Yukiko Sig.png 07:57, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

This area can in fact be reached. Walk a bit north, go down the stairs, turn left; there's an open gate there, then down the stairs behind it, then turn left again and you're there. Notice there's quite a few mobs of Shiro'ken there to make your effort difficult. Hope that helps! Clan Yumemiru 17:31, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Clan Yumemiru is correct, you can get to the area on the other side of this gate. The stairs he's speaking of are a bit to the South of your screenshot. So that's South, down the stairs, take a left and go down a ramp, take another left and go straight up a ramp to get to the other side of the gate. I hope that helps. And thats for the report. -Kim Chase 18:37, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I was reporting, not because I can't reach the area, but because the gates were inconsistent. Both gates appeared closed, but one you could walk through, the other you couldn't. That was the bug, not that I had a problem vanquishing the area. Sorry it took so long to reply for clarification. Yukiko User Yukiko Sig.png 01:59, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes Guild hall (zoning) bug

Few days ago, when I zoned from some town to my alliance leading guild, I was kicked(?) from guild, however my fellow officer said it still shows me as officer (Guild Leader did definately not kick me, because he was offline :P). I couldn't go to our guild hall or anything, logged off and came back after few mins. No help, but then after minute or so I was back in guild. I still think this should be mentioned. Kemal 13:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

That is strange, thank you for letting us know about it. I'm glad it corrected itself. If anything like this happens to you again, try sending a ticked to [support.] -Kim Chase 18:21, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes Vampirism Issues

I've noticed that sometimes, Vampirism doesn't attack while other spirits do. Also, it seems to have an abnormally short range. I've tried moving it around with draw spirit and summon spirits to get it to attack, but when it's in a situation where it isn't attacking, it simple doesn't attack until that creature dies and it finds a new target. This has been happening since I bought factions and I've asked a few people in game who have confirmed the range issue, but the not attacking issue seems to be specific to me. It seems to occur at random and as stated, it only resumes attacking if the target it was using dies. It has also just stopped attacking after it was already attacking something, almost as if it lost the target, but once again only attacks when that target dies. I often find myself calling the H/H to spike that target to get it to function again. Considering it's such a great spirit, it's fairly inoperable in this state. I was wondering if this is specific to me some how (?) or if anyone else was experiencing this. I intend to get a video today if possible to highlight the issue. Euphoracle 20:20, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

It's very apparent in the third video, though. One can see that it simply stops attacking and does nothing to the approaching enemy which then wipes it out of existance.
I've seen this happen with Bloodsong too. No screens or video. --71.229.204.25 22:07, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
I think this happens because of the AI. Hench or Heroes who are set to defensive won't attack either, till provoked. BlazeRick 09:52, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
I did testing on a stationary target and it looks like Vampirism is attacking at the same range as other binding rituals in controlled conditions. It will attack on it's own at about Danger Zone range, and will attack with-the-team at about longbow range. I haven't seen the issue you posted in your videos yet, Euphoracle, but I'm still working on it. This does seem like something with AI. -Kim Chase 19:31, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Aha, you were right Euphoracle. It looks like Spirit of Vampirism takes a little longer than other spirits to reacquire a new target if its target is killed while it's attacking. This has been reported. Thank you so much! -Kim Chase 19:59, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Fixed in last update. BlazeRick 05:01, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes Ranger emote

Female Ranger's do not move when commanded to perform the '/dance' emote. -- Don Knowall 19:06, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

My female Ranger character is dancing when I use the '/dance' emote. Can you see the dance when another player performs? If not, this might be an issue with your dat file. -Kim Chase 17:49, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the assist. I reinstalled the game client and all emotes seem to be working correctly now. Don Knowall 13:18, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

YesWard of Weakness Bug

Glyph of Immolation and Mark of Rodgort apply their burning first, and then Glowing Gaze checks for burning to see if you gain energy. Glowstone checks for weakness first, and then applies it if you hit someone inside a Ward of Weakness. To me, that is a bug, and quite an unfair one. 145.94.74.23 20:00, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

It's weird you mention that, as a similar thing happens with the paragon and the skills Anthem of Flame and Anthem of Weariness. If you take a skill like Spear of Fury and use it right after the Anthem, you'll notice that the conditional effect of it will only trigger with Anthem of Weariness. Anyway, different issue, but the conditions being discussed are the same, so. Zsig 22:04, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Sounds pretty much the same to me. 145.94.74.23 06:55, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes Spirit's Strength Bug

I was in AB running a Rit with scythe skills and my elite was SPIRIT'S STRENGTH. Whenever I put Spirit's Strength on me it would prematurely expire after 1 or 2 attacks. I had Spawing at 11 attribute points and is was supposed to last 43 secs. I checked to see if it was anyone with enchantment removal but it wasnt.
