A perfect example of why Izzy never fucking comments here. — Skadiddly[슴Mc슴]Diddles 18:21, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Unless this skill is completely reworked, this is as good as this skill will get.--The Gates Assassin 21:08, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
change it to that it ends if you use an attack and make it give you +25% ias and +5...15 dmg 76.26.189.65 21:03, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Then I guess you can have decent damage while spamming Fear Me? Lightblade 08:23, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Lightblade hit it on the nose, somewhat. IMO the skill is good as it is, a buff is always nice I won't deny that. I've made a build for sins focused around this. Works extremely well with "Fear Me" spam and if using Vamp it keeps your health up somewhat from speed of attacking, not much but the extra damage helps. Also if using elemental damage with and ele using Mark of Rodgort or Glimmer Mark or something along those lines you can keep the effect up constantly.Falcon Assassin 05:13, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Fear me has 6 seconds recharge, so it doesnt matter much on that anyways... 76.26.189.65 08:27, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Oh ya...totally forgot about the "Fear Me!" nerf....ya without "Fear Me!" this skill is weakened a lot and needs a buff. Damage buff I guess.[Edit-forgot name]Falcon Assassin 06:19, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Increase dagger damage to 10-2168.102.139.94 02:22, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

141.14.133.231's Issue

The only use this skill has is in PvE- use this with Critical Defenses, an IAS, "Watch Yourself!", "Fear Me!", and "Save Yourselves!".

I like to think I've made a more comprehensive argument than the previous anonymous poster and offered a viable suggestion. Since the nerf to Fear Me! there are no viable adrenaline powered shouts to use with this skill, which lets face it, was the one place for this skill. I tried and tried to find a new use for this skill because I love it's concept and honestly, the best thing I could find was using this with critical eye and a zealous dagger, then auto attacking for stupid energy gain which you could then use as a bonder or ritualist healer in RA. I am not saying this is a good use for Locust's Fury, I'm just saying it was the best I could find, which shows you how terrible this skill is in it's current state. I don't think this would overpower the skill if the numbers are applied correctly, while it might seem like a big spike on a scythe or hammer, it could be made no worse than Vow of Strength and the numbers in one double hit would be similar to Twin Moon Sweep or Sun and Moon Slash, hardly devastating game breaking skills. What would need to be considered is the effect on adrenaline gain. This could potentially make for nasty hammer sins who use Locust's plus Flail or something to charge Hammer Bash, but really, there are plenty scary knock lock builds out there already. I think it would just open up some new build opportunities for sins. Other things you could do to the skill include making it non-elite and leaving it as it is (because it REALLY isn't worth an elite slot now, but might do ok if chained with another elite somewhere, can't think of an example, but meh) but I don't think people really want to make skill unelite or elite them at this stage. The other change could be to make it trigger on attack skills, but I really think this could end up being ridiculous. Double striking Unsuspecting Strike anyone? If I just get hate for this for being anonymous maybe it's time to register... Or if I just get hate maybe it's time to ignore the wiki. 141.14.133.231 09:29, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Good points... However, unlike VoS, you can use atk skills. Make it end on atk skills, or drop % to 33. --User:Frvwfr2 frvwfr2 (talk · contributions) 02:04, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

hmmm, new effect?

What about: For 5...29...35 seconds, you have a 2...20...25% chance to deal double damage. Defy Pain.jpgJonathan 00:51, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
