I think this is actually a nice utility skill but other skills are just better. If the activation time were brought down to 1 sec and/or the recharge cut down to 5 or 8 sec I would consider putting it back on my Mesmer bar again. 70.132.2.120 03:46, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Yea, it's not like theres any strategy in the game so I'm all for buffing a skill that would work in any situation because who needs team builds or counters or any outs for that case. If they increase it to 33% more or even beyond that just make it an elite. I would like the continuation of tweaking certain illusion skills to be AOE. Illusion would benefit from such a distinction. I think Sum of all Fears could use at least an adjacent foes aspect. --Redfeather 05:51, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't think this skill needs a big change, it is a great all around hex for when I use Dwarven Battle Stance, makes it where they can't run/escape too well, attacks are easier to interrupt, and spells are easier to interrupt---it helps no matter if you cast it on a warrior, monk, ranger, etc. - Elder Angelus 19:04, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

I like this skill, it gives a bit of everything so you don't have to pack your bar full of different counters. However, as has been said, while it does everything, it doesn't do any of it very well. Therefore, it needs a buff - maybe knock down the cost, cast time and/or recharge, up the 20% to 25% or 33%, or even add something like "and suffers -1 Energy degeneration" (though that would probably mean it would have to be re-balanced a bit, as it would be OP otherwise). --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:86.10.17.180 (talk).
