Armond's Discussion

decrease cast time and its gud 24.141.45.72 00:29, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Good for the current level of power for hex removal. I'm trying to encourage a lot more hex removal power, as there's no good hex removal in the game. Everything verges on decent; but when, as is now, hexes are nearly as common as conditions, hex removal needs to be nearly as good as condition removal. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png 00:38, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

(In reply to Izzy; taken from main page) they are... [xT] vs. [rawr].. Anytime [meow] rolls they roll gay b-spike or hexgay (ill guest u for some hexgay if ya like :p(auto-win)) 24.141.45.72 01:35, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

It's fine. Leave it as it is 88.169.112.155 20:58, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Really? We should leave it useless? No one sane uses this because it focuses more on damage than hex removal, which isn't what a hex remover should do. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png 01:17, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
ORLY? my bad I thought shatter hex and HEV did. Some hex removals prevent damage, some heal... each has its purpose. And it's far from useless. Buff it and it becomes a VERY good skill due to the range. Leave it 88.169.112.155 12:51, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Shatter is worthless, like Smite. HEV is decent, and decent mesmer offense, but it's not "awesome good" like RC. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png 05:39, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
And that's why you want it to remove 2 hexes, deal 70dmg earshot range on 8 seconds recharge. That's not good, that's OP. 88.169.112.155 10:38, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Hexes are rampant in 4v4. --68.228.251.238 10:37, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

How about a clause like "For each remaining hex on target foe, Smite Hex recharges 10% faster (max. 40% faster)" --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:82.27.252.185 (talk).
Not unless the damage was absolutely killed. 40% faster recharge + AoE ~80 damage per hit? Oooooow. (Come to that, the damage needs a nuke as it is...) -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 20:45, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
OK, 40% might be a bit much but it only reduces it to a 7 seconds recharge (and only if your target it under 5 hexes or more when you use it). Put that down a bit and decrease the damage (maybe decrease the AoE) and it would be a great skill for combatting hex stacks while dealing damage, without being OP, and would still be OKish against single or AoE hexes.
