September 11 update

moved from User talk:Isaiah Cartwright

Do you have any insider information of what the update will consist of this Thursday? :) And also (Hopefully Brains doesn't delete this comment) is it possible if we can make binding rituals more active by reducing there durations, reducing there recharges and lowering there energy costs(this would also include reducing there effects and making them a little tougher so that they will make a noticeable difference) to make ritualists more viable in the game? Thanks again:D --Lancy1214 21:01, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Do IT PLZ!!

Hello, Izzy. Plz make Ritualist class more active! There is no fun in making slow and weak spirits. Im serious. --Kigamo 08:51, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

I agree, if you could make it so people use ritualist as a primary class instead of the majority of people using it as a secondary that would be cool. Spawning power has no purpose in increasing spirit health if the spirits themselves are nerfed like mad. --adrin User adrin ecto sig.png 08:55, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Make this class worth playing!. Rits have no use in AB, they rarely appear in HA (N/Rts thousand times better), they make no sence in PvE( offensive spirits are dying too fast, casting too long). They can heal, but players prefer monks (more unconditional healing + hex romove), they can support damage... but only Splinter Weapon, Channeled Strike, Ancestor's Rage work good. I have many other things to say, and not only I. --Kigamo 09:15, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
The class is worth playing, they're role is similar to that of a paragon's in that they offer party support. Just because you don't like that role it doesn't mean they aren't worth playing. And running a bunch of spirits is near pointless, its better to run Life, Recuperation, Bloodsong, or some other semi-useful spirit, but only 1 spirit in your bar.
Playing over 2 years for this class, for this 2 years i was using mostly: Mend Body and Soul, Spirit Light, Life, Recuperation, Spirit Light Weapon, Splinter Weapon, Ancestor's Rage, Offering of Spirit, Bloodsong, Protective Was Kaolai, Pure Was Li Ming, Recovery, Weapon of Warding, Weapon of Remedy, Channeled Strike, Attuned Was Songkai, Spirit Transfer, Rejuvenation, Soothing Memories; Sometimes i was playing as a spirit spammer in PvE using Vampirism, Pain, Anguish, Bloodsong, Painful Bond, new Signet of Ghostly Might. Sometimes i was using some trash like Spirit Rift, Shelter, Union, Displacement, Feast of Souls, Wielder's Zeal. 30 from 100. It is less than 1/3. Communing is totally underpowered and no one can make me think another way. --Kigamo 08:29, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
It's sad that communing and spawning power are the 2 most interesting attributes, yet they are the weakest. Even without spirits, rits can make for an interesting class. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 09:03, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Ritualists need spirits only to trigger Mend Body and Soul ^_^. --Kigamo 09:08, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
[1] Rits suck in AB. ---Chaos- 12:49, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Haha, this is the only build that has some use. In gvg and now ab. *Sigh* --89.232.124.241 12:15, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Insta balance

moved from User talk:Isaiah Cartwright

Could you tell whoever is currently in charge of balancing skills to focus more on regular skill changes and less on elite skill changes so we can actually have variety in builds? Remember in the dev updates awhile ago it was said item spells were preferred to have an effect while holding and also when dropped? Well, Blind was Mingson needs attention, as do, many other regular skills.--75.94.77.148 07:12, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Linsey and Regina atm I think. Blind Was Mingson needs no tweaks imho, although it has no "while holding" effect. ---Chaos- 13:13, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Blind was mingson rapes sins in HB, if it wud have a while-hold effect it wud b totally overpowered;o78.20.153.111 11:07, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Norn Fighting tournament

Ever since the activation time of binding rituals was reduced the Norn Fighting Tournament has become laughably easy, just spam a few spirits, it doesnt even have to be a primary rit. Of course that isn't as bad as if it had to be a primary, but still. Anyhow, maybe the fighting tournament should have an environment effect like, "Binding Rituals take +3 seconds to activate" or something like that, just slow down the activation time for the area in some way so as to make you actually have to choose a good order for the spirits you want to bind as opposed to just summon them all and have all the opponents in the tourney die without actively choosing skills like with other builds.--Orry 03:48, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
