Arena Master Portus organises gladatorial matches using convicted criminals and wild animals from around the Jade Sea. They are forced to fight in the Jade Arena.

- "Welcome. I am Portus, master of this arena. Here, you may battle against hardened criminals living out their sentences, as well as dangerous creatures that I have captured. Although some of my fellow Luxons think that arena battles should be banned, the training you receive here will help ensure that you are prepared to battle against the Kurzicks when the time comes."
- "By the way, you seem to have attracted quite a crowd. I would appreciate it if you try to draw the battles out a little and make them entertaining."
