The Astral Staff is a type of semi-universal staff, requiring the primary attribute of its respective caster profession, except for Mesmer where it is linked to Inspiration Magic. It has a straight shaft which tapers to a point, around which is a worm-like wrapping. The staff is animated, the animation being a highlight or glow in the wrapping that travels from the base to the head of the staff.

Dye

Dye affects the whole staff. The shaft dyes very darkly to the color applied but the worm-like wrapping usually dyes to near the opposite color to the one applied. It is dyed yellow by default.
