Byob

Byob, bring your own build, is a type of Guild versus Guild build that involves everyone essentially bringing whatever build they want, in a similar manner to randomway in HA. It often involves chaotic splitting in an attempt to create local number advantages to force kills. It is most often played in a very aggressive manner with fewer dedicated healing characters in comparison to a balanced build and with many of the characters taking self healing skills. Effective play requires speed boosts on almost every character and each build has to be largely self-sufficient.

Correct play should make it very difficult for the enemy team to boost through constantly pushing their base making it difficult for them to run flags. As they run out of Resurrection Signets and NPCs are slowly cleared a numbers advantage can be created either through a lack of signets or timekills to allow the Guild Lord to be killed to finish the match. Due to the aggressive playstyle matches involving a byob team are unlikely to last until the 28th minute, but byob teams are well suited to win at the tie-breaker in this circumstance.
