Carlotta is the pet spider of Shadow the ranger. She can be found roaming around in any town that Shadow appears in.

She is also the guide for players in the quest Passage Through The Dark River. During that quest, she appears as an ally in the party list, but can still be damaged by your team. If she is damaged, then she becomes hostile, much the ways charmable pets do.
