Short name redirects are those that redirect from commonly used shorter versions of long names. Use {{short name}} below the #redirect line to categorize the redirect. See Kamadan for an example.

Use of these redirects are generally intentional and should not be replaced where it is not necessary to do so. Even if it the long name is more appropriate, avoid making edits solely for the purpose of replacing redirects.
