[edit] Consumable items -> Food -> Alcohol / Sweets

Which articles should get which category?
Food is a specific type of consumable, Alc and sweets a specific type of food again.
Pages should only list the subcategories, right? Red Bean Cake for example shouldn't have Category:Food but only Category:Sweets, is this correct?
And there are still some items that don't have a subcategory, shouldn't they find place somewhere? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 23:29, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

yeah, there's plenty of places where this is an issue. u could try modifying the autocategorization. not easy tho... --VVong|BA 23:36, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
hmm. i take back what i said. i didn't actually look at the coding and just assumed it was autocat. u're right. the pages as they are should be changed so that they aren't listed in both category and subcategory. --VVong|BA 23:47, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
I'd prefer to keep (rather pointless) lore like "food" seperate from technical groups, as those who provides points towards a title. Backsword 00:00, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Articles should only be in their base category. So you are right, red bean cakes and other sweets should only be in sweets. - BeX iawtc 02:22, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
ok. is this doable with a bot? all those articles seem to be messed with those categories.
And what type should the item infobox list for all those items? Main or subcategories? And aren't these all therms never mentioned as such ingame? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 10:02, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
