Double check updated pages[edit]

I suspect this category needs to be revised on all listed pages. But the question is... which would be the number of reports needed to consider a table with enough information...and maybe we should also rename it more like Category:Drop search needed so that is has similar naming with other categories that need update. I see Alex removing tags. Some talk pages have a Farming topic, other tables only have 1 single documentation...good talk pages have several reports. Can we reach a concensus to when to remove this category? User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji talk 09:02, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
I have only removed the template links where the item is either a collector trophy or a well documented salvage item. Weapons should still retain this category. I disagree with the change of name even though I have corrected the move suggestion on the main page. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 09:21, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Move[edit]

You're nuts, that would be unnecessary, and will result in 359 page edits. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 12:06, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Well...I have seen already other people that like consistency. User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji talk 12:36, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
"Drop research needed" is not accurate. Royal Gift drop rates are well known, but people continue to publish data. More GOTT data is useful, not needed. Perhaps the category should just be deleted. 75.36.179.213 16:51, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
The flaw I find between "Ongoing drop search" and trying to fix is that there are several pages with the template "Ongoing search" but no documentation listed at all, for what "Drop research needed" fits better. Go check Trophy and click on several links to find out. User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji talk 05:34, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

I disagree with the move. "Ongoing drop research" perfectly explains the situation for most(?) of the pages. I believe what you're looking for is actually a new category, not a move. A move essentially means that you want to rename this entire category for all the pages involved.
Now, I agree with the need for a new category... but, I feel that it might be even better to just go through all the pages and actually create the drop research page. There's a smaller number of users who would actually go to the trouble of creating a new page; the number of users who'd click on a link and add a new row is likely higher. So rather than go through the exercise of applying a new category (which will need changing once someone creates the drop research page), might as well just go and create the drop research page instead. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 15:27, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
