Charr Salvage Kits drop after the 6-22-2007 game update in pre-searing Ascalon. They are the equivalent of a five-use Expert Salvage Kit.
On top of the chance to receive rare materials, Charr Salvage Kits also have at least one guaranteed chance to salvage the modifier of your choice from an item with salvageable modifiers.

- This kit is the only means of salvaging runes and insignias from dropped salvage items while in pre-Searing Ascalon.
- It is a rare drop from the Charr bosses only; other creatures do not drop this item.
- This kit has the same skin as the Expert Salvage Kit.
- While being a rare item which still can be identified, identification will not give Wisdom points.
