The Copper Crusher can be found in the Nightfall campaign as well as the Eye of the North campaign, mostly in the Jaga Moraine area, just East of Sifhalla, and is dropped by Avalanches.

Dye affects metal joint at the top of the hammer's haft, the butt of the haft and the three cores in the head. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye. The three cores are the exaxt opposite dye areas of the Bronze Crusher.
