The Dadao Sword can be obtained:
- Dye Master Franjek in Maatu Keep for 5 Pulsating Growths.
- Sakai in Senji's Corner for 5 Celestial Essences.
- Master Architect Wright in House zu Heltzer for 5 Stone Carvings.
- Leon outside of Aspenwood Gate (Luxon) for 5 Stolen Provisions.

Dye affects the wrapping around the sword's hilt. The default color can be closely replicated using brown dye.

- Dao is a type of Chinese sword. Dadao (大刀) means "big blade" in Chinese.
