The Depths of Madness is the explorable area beyond the Gate of Madness. It is a hellish landscape of darkness and burning earth.

The only entrance to this area is via the Abaddon's Gate mission outpost.

- While in this area, your party suffers from the Depths of Madness environment effect (i.e. healing spells heals for -15%).
- Be wary of hidden demons.
- The Gate of Madness mission takes place in the eastern half of this area.
- This area does not contribute to the Elonian Cartographer title since it is in the Realm of Torment and does not show up on the world map.
- This area is not required for the Elonian Vanquisher title.
