The Wisdom title track is an indication of how many rare items a player has identified. Rare items are those that are shown in-game with gold lettering.

- The salvage bonus in the table above is added to base chance (50%) of retaining the base item when salvaging it.
[edit] Acquisition
Progress is made by simply identifying a rare item using identification kits. Note that the rare items must be in an unidentified state. Buying an identified rare item from another player and then using an identification kit on it will not contribute to this title track.

- The salvage bonus from this title stacks with the similar bonus from the Treasure Hunter title track.
- Items located in storage when identified will count towards this title.
- When buying items from players to max this title, consider the resell price of the items at 200-400g when figuring costs.
- Obtaining this title requires the use of identification kits. Assuming you have the 10,000 gold items required for this title, it would take an additional 40
for the 400 identification kits you would need, or 50 if using 100 Superior Identification Kits.
- This title became an account-wide title with the November 13th, 2008 update.
- At tier 7, Source of Wisdom, you can display this title on the "Honor" monument in your Hall of Monuments.

- For over half a year, this title did not count towards earning the Favor of the Gods. It stopped when the 13th November 2008 update was applied, which was when this title was changed to an account-based title. This was finally rectified in the 11th June 2009 update.
