It has been suggested that this article, Dwarven Powder Keg (bundle), be moved to Powder Keg because: "There are more than one type of powder keg. They're not named the same. This should generalize to Powder Keg".

Dwarven Powder Kegs are explosive items found in select missions and quests in the Northern and Southern Shiverpeaks, as well as the Depths of Tyria.

Budger Blackpowder will also provide powderkegs in some areas

You cannot pick up a Dwarven Powder Keg after dropping it. So it is wise to have a caster carry it, and to be careful where you place it so it has the desired effect, such as blowing open a gate or sabotaging levers.
Dwarven Powder Kegs are in infinite supply at Dwarven Powder Keg Stations, so don't worry about limiting your use of them.
Dwarven Powder Kegs can't be put in your inventory.
