An Earthbound Insignia is a ranger specific upgrade component that provides an armor bonus of 15 extra armor rating against earth damage. This bonus is not global and applies only to the armor piece equipped with the insignia.

- To gain maximum benefit from this insignia, an elementalist secondary with Stone Striker is advised. With an Earth Magic attribute of 9, this enchantment can be kept up indefinitely, reducing all damage you receive. This armor may then be further improved via skills that boost armor rating also in the Earth Magic line such as Stoneflesh Aura or Armor of Earth.
- 1Priests of Balthazar will not have this insignia available for unlocking on accounts without Nightfall, but it can appear on runed armor salvage item drops in other campaigns.
