• "Every Tom, Dick, and Teardrinker" is a play on the phrase "every Tom, Dick, and Harry" (meaning "everyone and anyone", sometimes with connotations of "the unwashed masses"), and possibly also a dig at the kind of serious names players give themselves in Guild Wars and similar fantasy games.
