The Eidolon is a flying squid-like elementalist boss found in the Iron Mines of Moladune, Ring of Fire and Abaddon's Mouth missions. There is also an NPC very similar to Eidolon called Ice Beast in Mineral Springs.
In Iron Mines of Moladune you must kill Eidolon to retrieve its Spectral Essence, which is then used to infuse your armor by talking to the Seer. During Ring of Fire and Abaddon's Mouth missions, killing Eidolon is optional and not considered part of the mission itself, but it will still drop the essence required to infuse, which can then be taken to an Ancient Seer.
Unlike Phantoms, Eidolons are fleshy.
