From Guild Wars Wiki
Art styles for Elementalist headgear vary by attribute bonus independently of body armor art. They are the same for all armorers across a campaign, including prestige armor crafters. The exception is Vabbian Eyes, which are currently the only type of prestige headgear for elementalists.
Headgear comes in two main types, eyes and auras. Eyes, common to most campaigns, are solid and float over the wearer's forehead. Auras available in Factions are insubstantial and circle the wearer's head.
All crafted headgear can be upgraded with an insignia and a rune. Collector rewards with maximum armor rating do not have an insignia slot.
