Faction farming is a form of farming in which players repeatedly complete certain tasks to gather Faction.

[edit] Farming Faction with the Kurzicks/Luxons

The main purpose of this type of farming is to amass faction with the Kurzicks or Luxons to progress towards the allegiance rank or increase Allegiance skill effectiveness for PvE use. Faction farming is commonly practiced by members of an alliance trying to increase their alliance faction with either nation to gain control of towns.

For each side, there are a few areas that players go to farm faction. These are:

Kurzick Luxon
Duel of the Houses The Jade Arena
In the Army Now (Kurzick) In the Army (Luxon)
Kurzick Supply Lines Luxon Supply Lines
Scouting Ferndale Scouting Maishang Hills
Securing Echovald Forest Scout the Coast

[edit] Fast faction farming

The emphasis in FFF is on getting as much faction as possible in as little time as possible to allow for many runs to be done quickly.

There are multiple ways of fast farming, but the fastest two methods for the Kurzicks known at this time are:

  1. The FFF run outside of Lutgardis Conservatory. The build can be found here. This run is based on the repetitive completion of the quest Securing Echovald Forest. On average, the run produces 400 faction every minute for elite teams.
  2. The FFF run outside of Altrumm Ruins. This relies on farming the wardens and four closest bosses in Arborstone in Hard mode. On average, it produces 1400 faction in 3 minutes for elite teams.

There are multiple ways of fast farming, but the fastest Luxon method known at this time is:

  1. The Jade Arena FFF is done with a party with Recall which will be casted on a runner that will leave Jade Flats instead of the usual solo-able Breaker Hollow starting location. Can be finished under 2 minutes per run for proficient teams. From Breaker Hollow,it can be finish in under 3 minutes per run.
