Well, for the last few weeks, I've been learning to PvP better. as such, my hubby has been taking me into GvG, HA, RA, and Codex more regularly, and from what I've seen, that there are tons of things that can knock (Not litterally) a physical attacker on their butt. I've seen this most in GvG and HA, but there are TONS and TONS of people using blind skills. The most used from what I've seen is Blinding Surge. Yes, I know the duration/recharge of this skill has been nerfed once or twice before, but it's still easily able to remove 1 physical attacker completely out of the fight, while still being able deal damage to other enemey party members. From what I've seen in GvG, the most used henchmen are (Not Including monks) are the Water Magic Henchmen (Moderately disables physical attackers imo) and the ever so annoying GvG Air Henchmen. I know that since the Dervish Update, that dervishs have been everywhere in PvP, but I will talk about that in another suggestion. Another thing I've seen is that it's not just the elite Blinding Surge, Invoke Lightning Elementalists are everywhere too. Personally, I've seen an Invoke Elementalist hit up to 150 Damage on a ranger! That is about 70 AR, +30 AR against elemental damage. Invoke isnt that big of an issues sometimes, if you manage to get rid of all of the elementalist's enchantments (Never seen that happen) So, let me calculate this out for you. If Ive got this right, with armor penetration, an invoke elementalist, with 1 use of Invoke Lightning, does 101.25 lightning damage on my dervish without armor buffing runes. Yeat, my calculations are probablly wrong, since I've been hit with up to 125 lightning damage from said skill.

95=[95]x2^([3x(20)-60)/40])
101.25=95x2^([60-(70+20+15x(1-25/100))

Yes, invoke is a problem too, but blind to me, is more. Blind is like a 10+ second Wail of Doom to Physical Classes. Might as well, just disconnect physical classes from the game for x seconds. My suggested fix for this?

  1. Changing the duration that blind lasts, again. (My Number 1 Sugestion)
  2. Making skills that cause blind take longer to rechagre (This is also more likely to happen)
  3. Change blind so instead of 90% chance to miss, its between 50% and 75% (Most people would be angry about this, so It's not extremly recommended by me)

Obby Armor is Ugly PERIOD!Why? Ask me on my talk page =Pantil Swift 21:40, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
