So did the Greens that people modded get reverts to original stats or are there going to be pre-nerf modded greens in circulation now? --I Haz 03:16, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

I should see if its still possible to mod them, because my Adjucator still kept the fort mod I gave it. They might still be moddable, the only difference being the mods actually overwrite the old mods now instead of stacking on the originals. 173.88.136.15 03:19, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Just tested it, I can still mod the bow I got 173.88.136.15 04:36, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Historically when something is available in the game that shouldn't be, they eventually remove it. The Rockmolder were all eventually retrofitted with the right mods after they new ones started dropping with the 10% instead of 20% mod. 58.106.158.34 04:57, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Something that imbalances pvp is sure to be fixed. Making the correct ones drop is probably just the first step, before someone goes back through the database and fixes it. 71.146.79.113 06:34, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

+120hp still in the game.. pvp now finally blown too?[edit]

guildy still has his +120hp staff. gg anet. pls remove all those or that game will also lose its pvp -.-

i'm not sure if you're a bit slow on the uptake, but between the SW buff and now the mesmer buff, pvp's been pretty dead for the past few months. this just means that now weapon specs can affect the outcome of a game more inherently (loldualsundering), which means that anet's claim of "level playing field" is deaddddd. 173.19.202.85 07:57, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
There was a bug from ages ago that allowed you to have a +40% enchanting axe, and ANet fixed it not long after it was discovered. The bug was fixed promptly, but there were still a bunch of +40% axes floating around, and people thought they would become the next HoD sword, going for 150K+ each (which was a fortune back then). ANet realized how expensive they'd become, and removed all the axes created by the quest bug posthumously, so that they only gave +20%. I expect something similar will be done here. Actually, that was Good ANet. Now that we have Evildoer ANet they'll probably just leave it alone to let prices skyrocket. –Jette 10:47, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Just what we needed. Actually rare items that are imbalanced in PvP with insanely high prices. I didn't join GW for that. All those items should be either wiped or fixed. Same goes for any other item the PvP item creation panel can't replicate. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 13:48, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
All bugs are fixed fairly promptly I think. I wouldn't know about issues that are self-importantly highlighted :P -Tong2 13:59, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Many bugs have taken over a year to fix. Not just little scrawny ones, mind you, the kind that can make or break a game. –Jette 14:15, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Dyeable?[edit]

Are the WiK greens dropping after the update still dyeable? I removed the notes on all their pages about them being modable but left the dyeable notes since I wasn't sure. Also, should some reference be made to the bug on the individual weapon pages themselves? Lyra ValoUser Lyra Valo Sig.jpg 10:17, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Test Krewe[edit]

Hate to put it like this, but we kept being told that these updates were so far appart because of the extensive testing... yet we get results as bad as this? I'm glad I prefer PvE over PvP cause this one has been a kick between the legs MrPaladin talk 10:51, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

It's pretty obvious Anet dropped a proper QA team which they would have to pay for, for the "Test Krewe", not only making them look like they care about balance, but saving a lot of money. All these buggy updates started coming along right around the time the Test Krewe came into play. /conspiracy. --Frosty User Frosty Frostcharge sig.jpg 10:58, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Funny thing, huh. And I was hoping to see "Fixed a bug which made Mesmers incredibly overpowered". Widowmaker 11:26, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Lol conspiracy! Like you said it's just unpaid volunteers (aka amateurs) doing the job of a QA team. No wonder bugs go in more frequently. And tbh in their defense I doubt testing if greens accept upgrades would cross anyone's mind. Let's hope GW2 is getting the attention and proper QA testing that GW1 no longer can have. Razor39999 13:11, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
If you think GW has terrible bugs then you need to check out some of the other games available right now - one in particular is especially poor. ANet does a pretty good job when considering a bigger picture. - Clobimon Craiggy 13:32, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, Neverwinter Nights 2 is depressingly buggy. Great game, though, if you can get past the bugs. --RoyHarmon 13:43, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Some of the characters in NWN2 vanilla were alright, but the game itself was disappointing. The plotline was pretty meh. MotB had much more flavorful characters overall and a much better plot, but suffered from a "death clock" mechanic that made it difficult to enjoy exploring the full world, was disappointingly short and had a total cock-block ending. Also, NWN2's game mechanics are a piece of flaming dogshit, especially compared to NWN1's. –Jette 13:47, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
I personally like Frosty's conspiracy theory. It would make sense if they had fired the majority of the QA team and just had players do it (who apparently do a terrible job of it). Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 14:24, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
In the Test Krewe's defence in reguard to the modable greens, that falls on the designers... even a proper QA team may not have ever considered that one... but the other bugs are enough to fall into the "things that make ya go Meh" catagory.... 192.203.160.241 14:50, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
I was more or less thinking about the giant minions. You'd think that would be an easy thing to spot....giant minions aren't exactly normal.... Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 14:56, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Yep especially considering that the Peacekeepers use both Aura of the Lich and Flesh Golem in their builds... should have been spotted 192.203.160.241 14:58, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
I like giant minions. <3 ♥ Tyloric ♣ 15:50, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
I also like the giant minions. I'd like to keep them. –Jette 15:57, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
A proper QA team would probably have considered it. The unpaid people playing this game did, and pretty darn quickly. QA teams' job is pretty much to emulate the players, particularly in such a vein as to get an advantage | 72 User Seventy two Truly Random.jpg (UTC) 16:06, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Vincent Evan[edit]

Really? He's supposed to use the normal version? Or is that an error on ANet's part? Backsword 07:23, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
